Do some sort of an aerobic activity that will get your heart rate higher, preferably up into about the 80% range of your maximum heart rate.
Start out on the low side of this activity unless you are used to it but whatever you choose to do, do it for about 10 minutes at a time, several times each day. If you don’t have hip or knee replacements, the skip rope is ideal. It doesn’t take up much space, it is easy to use, it helps develop your coordination and balance as well as improving your cardio endurance.
