Getting the last drop of paint out of your can of paint.
I suspect that at one time or another you have painted the interior or exterior of your home. If not, then you have missed an opportunity to evaluate the strength of your marriage.
In my case, I tend to buy more paint than I need. If, by chance this applies to you then, then the rest of this is beside the point because you don’t need the information coming up in the next few paragraphs.
Painting a house or an apartment, is an art form, a test of patience, self-development in the skills of preparation, matching the existing paint if repainting, choosing the right brush/roller… the list is almost endless.
For those of you who don’t buy more than is realistically needed and just must have a little bit more to finish the job, here is a tip given to me by a professional painter friend of ours Ethan.
Even better here is a series of pictures that clearly show what steps there are to finish the painting job. These pictures clearly demonstrate that a picture is worth a thousand words, or in this case, 8,000 words.
It would be best, in fact it is best, in my opinion, to use a water-based paint. The Two Types of Water-Based Paint: Acrylic Paint and Latex Paint. To start out you will need to identify the right scraper for the cleaning job.
Notice the smooth transition from the handle to the scraper on the green one. You don’t want this kind. Instead, you need one with a definite lip at the start of the handle and the scraper, as shown on the center and right scrapers of the top picture and the bottom two scrapers.
